Shelley Beach Renovation

Our latest project was to convert this 1970's single level home in to a gorgeous, two storey, coastal style home.

The obvious changes were the addition of a new upper floor consisting of a master suite with ensuite, a large entertaining space with kitchenette and expansive balcony on which to sit and capture the expansive views. On the ground floor we redesigned the existing floorplan to include custom build stairs, double height entry, a new kitchen with a large butlers pantry.

Externally the home had a complete upgrade in the sought after coastal style including a stone feature column, new windows and doors, timber look features and paneling plus extensive alfresco and balcony areas.

Riverside Drive Renovation

This HIA award winning renovation converted an old 70's style brick home in to the high quality riverside retreat that you see today.

At the 2024 HIA Northern NSW Awards the home won two prestigious awards including 2024 Northern NSW Renovation / Addition Project and Renovation / Addition Project $500,000 to $800,000. It was also one of just three finalists in the 2024 HIA NSW Home Of The Year.

The home was designed by Craig Maltman of Draftworx Designs.

Lighthouse Beach Renovation

This stunning renovation is located high in Lighthouse Beach Port Macquarie. Dan Woods Building & Renovations used all of their experience to create the clients forever home.

Every room in the house was renovated to the highest standard including luxurious fittings and tiles in the three bathrooms as well as custom cabinetry for the kitchen and laundry.

The upper level verandah was completely overhauled including new stairs and a large additional alfresco entertaining space.

Settlement Point Extension

This beautiful home was not just a renovation, it was a huge rebuild and extension that doubled the families living space. It featured multiple living areas, four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Because of the proximity to the river and council regulations, the living areas are safely on the first floor. This also meant that they could be optimised to take in the expansive river views.

We even installed a swimming pool that also conformed to all regulations whilst being up out of the way of any potential flood issues.
